The Ischia Global Film & Music Festival will honor the late Clive Davis, a legendary figure in the global music industry, with a special memorial event scheduled for Saturday, July 18.

The memorial will pay tribute to the American tycoon, who recently passed away on June 22, and who forever changed the history of music by discovering and guiding the careers of icons such as Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys, Barry Manilow, Carlos Santana, and countless other international stars.
A Deep Connection to the “Isola Verde”
Davis shared a long-standing, deep bond with Ischia Global, which he considered his favorite Italian event. His first appearance at the festival dates back to 2012, when he received the William Walton Music Legend Award, presented to him on the island by Zucchero and Trudie Styler. Over the years, he returned to Ischia for numerous editions, cementing a deep friendship and mutual respect with the festival founded by Pascal Vicedomini.
As part of the 24th edition of the festival, the special event will feature video footage, photographs, and testimonials to retrace his extraordinary professional journey and his unique relationship with the festival. Notably, in 2017, Ischia Global hosted the screening of the documentary “Clive Davis: The Soundtrack of Our Lives”, directed by Chris Perkel and produced by Ridley Scott.
