Raccontare l’isola d’Ischia significa partire dalla consapevolezza che il suo territorio è un organismo unitario, un “Topos”. La sua natura è parte integrante dell’ambiente costruito, nella sua dimensione umana. Il documentario richiama la necessità di riconnettere i luoghi alla loro memoria, salvaguardare il territorio riservando una nuova attenzione al paesaggio. Senza memoria non c’è futuro.
Telling the story of the island of Ischia means starting from the awareness that its territory is a unified organism, a “Topos.” Its natural environment is an integral part of the built environment and of its human dimension. The documentary highlights the need to reconnect places with their memory, to safeguard the territory, and to bring renewed attention to the landscape. Without memory, there is no future.
