Synopsis:
On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the members of a family gather at their parents’ homes to carry on their late father’s annual tradition. After sacrificing a sheep, they prepare to distribute the meat among neighbors and acquaintances. The day unfolds according to ritual and habit, until the mother — for whom this celebration holds deep emotional significance — becomes aware of an urgent and unexpected problem that threatens to disrupt everything.
In occasione dell’Eid al-Adha, i membri di una famiglia si riuniscono nelle case dei genitori per rispettare l’annuale tradizione lasciata dal padre. Dopo il sacrificio di una pecora, la carne viene destinata alla distribuzione tra vicini e conoscenti. La giornata sembra procedere secondo consuetudine, finché la madre — per la quale questo rito ha un valore fondamentale — si accorge di un problema improvviso e urgente che rischia di far crollare l’equilibrio della celebrazione.
