Oscar-nominated Crispian Sallis will be honored with the Ischia Enrico Job Art Award on Monday, July 7 in Casamicciola, during the 23rd edition of the Ischia Global Film & Music Festival.
Sallis, a three-time Academy Award nominee, has worked on iconic films such as 12 Monkeys, Gladiator, Hannibal, Aliens, and Driving Miss Daisy. Son of actors Elaine Usher and Peter Sallis, he is a long-time admirer of Italian culture and was previously awarded the Cult Award by Capri, Hollywood.
The Enrico Job Award, established by the Accademia Internazionale Arte Ischia in memory of scenographer Enrico Job, celebrates creativity in the performing arts and is supported by the DG Cinema of MiC and the Campania Region.
Il candidato a tre Premi Oscar Crispian Sallis riceverà il Premio Ischia Enrico Job lunedì 7 luglio a Casamicciola, nell’ambito della XXIII edizione dell’Ischia Global Film & Music Festival.
Sallis ha curato le scenografie di film iconici come L’esercito delle 12 scimmie, Il gladiatore, Hannibal, Aliens e A spasso con Daisy. Figlio degli attori Elaine Usher e Peter Sallis, è da sempre appassionato di cultura italiana e ha ricevuto in passato il Cult Award dal festival Capri, Hollywood.
Il premio, promosso dall’Accademia Internazionale Arte Ischia in memoria dello scenografo Enrico Job, celebra la creatività nelle arti dello spettacolo ed è sostenuto dalla DG Cinema del MiC e dalla Regione Campania.
