Synopsis:
Rıfat, a 48-year-old man living with his family in a wealthy neighborhood, is struggling with a serious illness. As social unrest erupts around him, he realizes that his condition will not improve and that the emotional support he expects from his family will never come. After his relatives and doctor leave, Rıfat calls his housekeeper and asks her to give him a pill that will end his life. Faced with this request, she must confront a profound moral and professional dilemma.
Rıfat, 48 anni, vive con la sua famiglia in un quartiere lussuoso della città e combatte contro una grave malattia. Mentre all’esterno esplodono tensioni sociali, prende coscienza di non avere alcuna possibilità di migliorare la propria condizione e di non poter contare sul sostegno della sua famiglia. Rimasto solo dopo la visita dei parenti e del medico, chiama la sua governante e le chiede una pillola che possa porre fine alla sua vita. Di fronte a quella richiesta, la donna si trova costretta ad affrontare un profondo dilemma morale e professionale.
