Synopsis:
The complex world of shark fishing and the trade of their meat, an environmental issue of enormous scale, told through a long and in-depth research. Andrea Spinelli, a marine biologist, and his brother Marco, a photographer and documentary filmmaker, traveled between Italy and Spain, two of the main importing countries of shark meat. Every year, up to 100 million sharks are killed, contributing to a dramatic decline in their populations, with 36% of species at risk of extinction and serious consequences for the marine ecosystem.

Andrea Spinelli, biologo marino, e suo fratello Marco, fotografo e documentarista, hanno viaggiato tra Italia e Spagna, due dei principali paesi importatori di carne di squalo.
