Synopsis:
In a school in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, two groups of teenagers prepare to stage works by Guimarães Rosa — Grande Sertão: Veredas — and Mozart’s The Magic Flute. Between classroom exercises and outdoor activities, daily routines and moments of rehearsal, the students embark on an immersive creative process. As they embody characters and stories, they reflect on conflicts, passions and existential questions that resonate both on stage and in their own lives.
In una scuola del Minas Gerais, due gruppi di adolescenti si preparano a mettere in scena Grande Sertão: Veredas di Guimarães Rosa e Il flauto magico di Mozart. Tra attività in aula e all’aperto, tra la routine scolastica e il ritmo della vita quotidiana, i ragazzi attraversano un percorso immersivo che li porta a dare corpo a personaggi e narrazioni. Durante le prove emergono conflitti, passioni e interrogativi esistenziali che rispecchiano ciò che vivono dentro e fuori dalla scena.
