Synopsis:
In 1991, during the collapse of Albanian communism, 13-year-old Landi lives with his younger brother Endri and their father in Xiber-Hane, a small mountain village. He works on the family farm alongside his father and teaches his brother the daily tasks needed to keep the household running. Aware that there is no future for him in that land, Landi prepares to leave his homeland in secret, without his father’s knowledge.
Nel 1991, durante la caduta del comunismo albanese, Landi, 13 anni, vive insieme al fratello minore Endri e al padre a Xiber-Hane, un piccolo paese di montagna. Lavora nella fattoria di famiglia con il padre e insegna al fratellino le mansioni quotidiane necessarie per mandare avanti la casa. Consapevole di non avere un futuro in quella terra, Landi si prepara ad abbandonare la sua terra natale, all’insaputa del padre.
