L’8 luglio all’Ischia Global Film & Music Festival 2025 è stato un omaggio al talento, al cinema d’autore e alla voce delle donne, tra forum, proiezioni in sala e una nuova cerimonia di premiazione ricca di emozioni.
Il pomeriggio si è aperto alla Sala Azzurra di Lacco Ameno con il forum “La parola alle donne”, moderato da Catherine Hardwicke, chairperson del festival. Sul palco, protagoniste del panorama cinematografico internazionale come Katherine Cozumel, Dessy Tenekedjieva, Cinzia TH Torrini e Antonella Salvucci.
Nel corso della giornata, grande spazio alle proiezioni: tra i titoli più attesi al Cinema Excelsior di Ischia Porto, “Anora” di Sean Baker, vincitore di 5 Premi Oscar, e l’anteprima italiana di “Smell of Burnt Milk” di Justine Bauer. Al Cinema delle Vittorie di Forio, invece, il pubblico ha potuto assistere a film come “Familia” di Francesco Costabile e “Devil’s Play”, introdotto dall’attore Gary Stretch e dalla produttrice Dessy Tenekedjieva.
La serata si è conclusa nella splendida cornice dell’Hotel La Madonnina a Casamicciola Terme, con una cerimonia privata di premiazione che ha celebrato figure di spicco del cinema, dell’arte e della musica:

Il festival prosegue con oltre 80 proiezioni in sala e oltre 120 film disponibili online sulle piattaforme MyMovies.it e Eventive.org, per un pubblico internazionale.
Organizzato dall’Accademia Internazionale Arte Ischia, il festival, prodotto da Pascal Vicedomini, è promosso con il sostegno della Direzione Generale Cinema e Audiovisivo del MiC e della Regione Campania, con il patrocinio del Ministero del Turismo e la partecipazione di ENIT, insieme a Givova, Rainbow e Caremar.
Tuesday, July 8 brought another unforgettable evening to the Ischia Global Film & Music Festival 2025, with a full day of screenings, a women-led industry forum, and a dazzling celebration of international cinema and talent.
In the afternoon, the Sala Azzurra in Lacco Ameno hosted the forum “Women’s Voices”, chaired by Catherine Hardwicke, joined by Katherine Cozumel, Dessy Tenekedjieva, Cinzia TH Torrini, and Antonella Salvucci.
The day’s screenings unfolded across the island’s venues:
At Cinema Excelsior in Ischia Porto, audiences enjoyed “Il fuoco di Santa Lucia” by Eduardo Cocciardo, Oscar-winning “Anora” by Sean Baker, and the Italian premiere of “Smell of Burnt Milk” by Justine Bauer.
At Cinema delle Vittorie in Forio, screenings included “Familia” by Francesco Costabile, “Paternal Leave” by Alissa Jung, and “Devil’s Play” by Ben Charles Edwards, introduced by actor Gary Stretch and producer-actress Dessy Tenekedjieva.
Due to adverse weather, outdoor screenings were canceled for the night, but the festival continued online through MyMovies.it and Eventive.org, offering access to over 120 streaming titles alongside 80 in-person screenings.
In the evening, the elegant terrace of Hotel La Madonnina in Casamicciola Terme hosted an exclusive award ceremony for international guests. The following honorees were celebrated:

The festival is organized by the International Academy of Art Ischia and produced by Pascal Vicedomini, with the support of the Italian Ministry of Culture’s Cinema Directorate, the Campania Region, and under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism, in collaboration with ENIT, Givova, Rainbow, Caremar, and other esteemed partners.
